Ouistreham dockworkers have decided to continue their strike for 48 hours, from tomorrow Thursday,26th May from 6.30am to 11.30pm. The Same for Friday, 27th May, “But we will let passengers pass” says the CGT. The decision to renew the strike action follows what happened in Fos-sur-Mer last week, where several hundred militants of the CGT mobilized against the Labour Law by blocking oil depots, were dislodged by law enforcement. Last week, the Ouistreham dockers had already blocked trucks carrying cargo and wishing board the car ferry to Portsmouth.
