Two TGV trains were delayed on last night, after a train collided with a deer between Laval and Rennes.
The TGV, train service 5237,from Lille to Lorient, struck a deer on Thursday night, around 9pm, between Laval and Rennes.
The train stopped on the tracks, after hitting the deer, which then lead to delays with another service, the 8761 TGV from Paris Montparnasse to Quimper via Rennes.
Eventually after a short delay of approx 30 – 40 mins, the two trains were able to continue with their journeys.
