The average amount is 176 euros per month …
The Caisse des allocations familiales (CAF) on the 5th February made the first payments of the Prime d’activité.
On this occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Marisol Touraine, has announced the average amount of the Prime d’activité, which is replacing the RSA-activité and the prime pour l’emploi, amounts on average to 176 euros per month. For the first month, 1.5 million beneficiaries are concerned, of which 12.2% are under 25 years.
An online calculator on the website of the CAF
In December 2015, an online simulator was set up on the website of CAF to allow users to determine whether or not they were eligible for the prime d’activité.
Thesimulator was a great success and 98% of applications were finally addressed via the internet. Registration is still possible until March 31, 2016, with the application of retroactive effect from 1 January.
