Monday, from 8.30pm, dozens of farmers are present in front of the dairy company’s website (part of the Lactalis Group), in Vitre.
Farmers gathered at the roundabout which gives access to the site. “It’s quiet, it does not overflow. It does not block either site, we do not have the right. We just would like to add more pressure to the point,” says one of them. “We expect the meeting tomorrow to know the follow up to the movement. “
Farmers are tired of the situation with the milk crisis: “I get up in the morning knowing that I have lost money … It has to stop,” says a dairy farmer.
Vitre gendarmes are also on site.
