ON THE MOVE? The singer, Rihanna was photographed in Paris, fueling the rumours of her installation in the capital
It’s THE rumour of the moment. Rihanna currently lives between her home in Los Angeles and a rental in London. But the pop star and designer of 31 years would be about to settle in Paris, and would have even acquired an apartment in the sixteenth arrondissement, according to Public.
The information has not been confirmed by the person concerned, and it will be difficult to find out more. As the British media outlet Metro recalls , fans have not managed in two years to find his London address. Several elements of recent Rihanna news, however, contribute to fueling the idea of an installation in Paris.
She collaborates with LVMH
Rihanna, whose cosmetic brand Fenty is very successful, opened last May the first pop-up store of its Fenty clothing brand in Paris. At the same time, it launches its own luxury brand with the French group LVMH . And at the same time, she becomes the first woman, of colour, who is at the head of an LVMH house.
The house in question, named Fenty, is developed by Rihanna herself and fits her vision in terms of clothing, shoes and accessories, and communication. This is the first original house created since that of Christian Lacroix in 1987.
She is at all the haute couture fashion weeks
Rihanna loves haute couture. And attend all fashion weeks. However, there are no high fashion weeks in London. In Paris, however, there are two, usually in January and July. One more argument for the singer to move to France, especially if she is sensitive to carbon balance issues …
She must keep her promises to Emmanuel Macron
Remember: in February 2018, Rihanna and Emmanuel Macron met in Dakar, Senegal, seven months after their meeting at the Elysee Palace on August 26, 2017. They attended a conference on the enrollment rate of poor countries.
The singer is very committed to educating girls around the world. Ambassador of the Global Partnership for Education (SMEs), she had questioned the French president on Twitter in June 2017 , and challenged him to participate in the SME.
