Renault has just refined its Koleos by offering a more assertive exterior design

Renault offers Koleos a little more style and comfort, more technologies, but especially new, more efficient engines. Its price starts at 35 250 €.

Two years after its introduction on the European market, Renault is refining its Koleos with a more assertive exterior design. At the front, the Koleos evolves with a radiator grille with a more pronounced relief. A new chrome line appears along the entire length of the bumper to chromed fog lights.

In the lower part, the shield adopts a new ski of protection more imposing which reinforces the pace of fighter of the vehicle. He takes care of his look with new 18 “grey diamond” Taika “and 19” black “Kavita” diamond alloy wheels. A new body colour “Red Vintage” is also available in the catalogue.

The rear part has been reworked with a protective ski going higher up on the shield and a transverse chrome element consistent with the front. The third brake light has been lengthened.

Inside, the Koleos benefits from improved comfort with, among other things, a two-position reclining rear seat backrest, front seats with a seat that can be extended with an adjustable seat cushion and a driver’s seat. a massage function.

The Koleos receives new technological equipment for more safety, connectivity and well-being on board. Since September 2018, the range has been enhanced with adaptive cruise control in series on all versions and fatigue detection alert.

Finally, its active emergency braking system incorporates a new pedestrian detection function in the city.

Cleaner and more powerful engines

The Koleos adopts a new generation of Blue dCi Renault engines which benefit from the latest technologies of depollution. Made in France in the Cléon plant, these engines offer two levels of power: a 150 hp diesel on the front axle coupled to a six-speed mechanical gearbox and a 190 hp diesel coupled to the all-wheel drive and associated with a X-Tronic 7-speed automatic transmission. They emit respectively 143 and 150 g / km of CO2 according to the latest standards in effect NEDC correlated from the WLTP protocol.
