Storm Benjamin: No Nantes-Châteaubriant Tram-Train will Run this Thursday

Due to weather conditions and storm Benjamin which is hitting the territory, the Nantes-Châteaubriant tram-train will not run this Thursday 23rd October 2025.

The SNCF network announced at the end of the day that traffic on Nantes-Châteaubriant tram-train would be totally interrupted this thursday 23rd October 2025, due to storm Benjamin.

If the last journeys of this Wednesday, October 22, 2025 are nevertheless assured, this will not be the case this Thursday 23rd October 2025. There storm Benjamin forecast wind gusts reaching up to more than 80 km/h.

SNCF Réseau therefore announces, for the whole day tomorrow, “the total interruption of traffic for the day of October 23 between Nantes and Châteaubriant”. This decision was made “in order to’prevent travelers from being blocked by a falling tree on the way.

As for Friday, the resumption of traffic will be determined tomorrow depending on weather observations.
