Fatal Accident near Brest, a 21-year-old Man Died
A 21-year-old young man lost his life this Friday 24th October at 4.30am. He was hit by a motorist on the RN 12 near Gouesnou, near Brest (Finistère).
Around 4.30am, this Friday 24th October 2025, a 21-year-old pedestrian was hit by a motorist on the RN12 in Gouesnou, between Brest and Morlaix, near the Leclerc hypermarket. He died.
“The driver, in his twenties, would not have seen it coming. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the tragedy”, indicates the departmental company gendarmerie from Brest.
The victim was 21 years old and lived in Plouvien.
As for the driver, shocked, he was transported to Cavale Blanche hospital.
The lane blocked until 7:30 a.m
The track was blocked in the Brest-Morlaix direction and a diversion put in place until 7:30 a.m.
There were numerous emergency services on site: Brest firefighters, Guipavas gendarmes and Brest motorized brigade.
