A fatal accident occurred this Saturday 22nd September, 2018 , between Châteaubriant (Loire-Atlantique) and Louisfert. The victim is a pedestrian from Châteaubriant, aged 27 years old.
The pedestrian from Châteaubriant walked on the lower side of the D771, towards Châteaubriant, when it was hit by a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. The car did not stop there after the shock.
The victim died instantly. The accident, which would be involuntary according to the first elements of the gendarmerie, occurred between the McDonald’s roundabout and the beginning of the 2 × 2 lane portion.
