Saturday, in the agglomeration of Lyon, the minimum temperatures – 17 to 18 degrees – will rise in the afternoon to 34 or 35 degrees and will not go back below 21 degrees during the night, says the meteorological organization.
Sunday and Monday, the maximum will be even higher and neither rain nor thunderstorms will refresh the atmosphere before the evening of Monday.
For its part, the Rhone prefecture has activated level 3 “alert heat wave”, leading the services of the Regional Health Agency (ARS) and local support agencies to organize the prevention and care of people at risk, mainly old people.
