A dramatic traffic accident occurred on Monday 30th April, at approximately 6.30pm in the town of Cantenay-Épinard, north of Angers (Maine-et-Loire). A five-year-old died as a result of the accident.
The balance of the accident that occurred Monday, shortly before 6.30pm, near Angers, and whose circumstances are unknown, is very heavy. A five-year-old child died, a nine-year-old girl was transported to Angers University Hospital in a serious condition after extrication, and their mother was in shock. The car in which they were located, apparently, left the departmental road 107, south of the village of Cantenay-Épinard, near the golf Avrillé.
Investigation in progress
On site, 18 firefighters and three units of the gendarmerie brigades from Lion-d’Angers and Montreuil-Juigné intervened, accompanied by Samu and an elected official. A modified circulation device was put in place and raised around 9:30 pm An investigation is underway to try to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
