Marine Le Pen is ahead of Emmanuel by just a point, with 26% against 25% in voting intentions in the first round of the presidential election>, according to the daily survey Opinionway-Orpi for Les Echos and classic published on Tuesday.
The Candidate for the Front National fell back one point compared to Monday’s poll while that of Power Up! François Fillon (The Republicans) was third, with 20% of the vote, up a point. In the second round, Emmanuel Macron beat Marine Le Pen with 60% against 40%, and François Fillon would beat 58% against 42%.
The Socialist Benoît Hamon is fourth with 16%, +1, ahead of Jean-Luc Mélenchon of La France insoumise, 10%, -1.
The survey was conducted from March 4 to 6 with a sample of 1559 people on lists voters from a sample of 1,603 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over.
