Access to the historic centre was closed so far …
Closed to protesters from overflowing during the recent rallies against the El Khomri Labour Law, access to the historic centre was opened to the unions this Sunday at Rennes. The demonstration on the 1st May will therefore be from the Town Hall Square at 11 am, as requested by the unions.
A blind student Thursday
In Rennes, every rally against the proposed labour law resulted in clashes between security forces and protesters. On Thursday, a student has even been seriously wounded and lost an eye, probably due to a launcher firing rubber defence bullets, little brother of the Flash-Ball.
