Paris Attacks : State of Emergency Declared
Just before midnight, on Friday evening, the President has declared a state of emergency, an exceptional measure that was last applied in Ile de France,with the riots in the suburbs in 2005. This Friday, the measure takes effect throughout the country. This means that the borders will be closed, that some public facilities will be closed, that traffic conditions will be restricted and that searches can be conducted. He said military reinforcements to contain the threat.
