If the younger generation of France is less fond of tobacco in recent years, they remain an alcohol lover.
Smoking is less popular among young people of France. 53% of high school students have already smoked a cigarette in 2018 compared to 60.9% three years ago. The rate of high school students smoking each day is 17.5% against 23.2% in 2015. On the side of college students, 37.5% have already grilled a third.
The success of cannabis is also down: 6.7% of college students tested it in 2018, they were 9.8% in 2014. Same trend among high school students of which 33% has already consumed at least once last year against 44% in 2015.
For the alcohol, they are 44% to have already consumed at their entry in the 6th. This rate flies to 75% in the 3rd. Nearly half of high school students (49.5%) have already experienced drunkenness.
