A 20 year old man died after being hit by a train on Tuesday night at Nîmes train station whilst with his friend. The circumstances are still unknown at the present, reported firefighters this Wednesday.
The victim, a resident of the city, according to police, had died on arrival of emergency shortly after 8pm, said the firefighters. The second young man, wounded and shocked, was transported to Nîmes University Hospital.
An investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
