Up to 75,000 jobs could be lost in the sector of finance because of Brexit

The Brexit could result in the elimination of many jobs in the finance sector in the UK. According to the BBC on Tuesday the Bank of England expects up to 75,000 jobs lost.

The Bank of England expects up to 75,000 job losses in financial services in the UK after the Brexit, reported Tuesday, by the BBC .

This figure, says the BBC, is the high range of estimates of the Bank of England and could vary depending on the terms of the divorce between Britain and the European Union, which must take place by the end of March 2019.



No comment could be obtained immediately from the Bank of England, two deputy governors responsible for financial services, Jon Cunliffe and Sam Woods on Brexit before a parliamentary committee.
