The Eiffel Tower will be adorned with rose between 8.20pm and 1am on Wednesday evening, in a sign of support for the 24th edition of Pink October, the annual awareness campaign for breast cancer.

“Launched by beautiful scenery sound & light, the illumination of the Eiffel Tower in pink, probably the most iconic monument in the world, is more than a symbol; it is a sign of victory over the disease victory we win together, step by step, but without fail, until it becomes absolute”, rejoices on its website the association for Breast Cancer, Let’s Talk!.
This is not the first time that the Eiffel Tower is associated with the cause. The monument was already rose in 2014, 2015 and 2016, said his side Le Parisien.
