This Tuesday 12th September, 200 to 250 people gathered outside the Town Hall of Chateaubriant, the call of local unions CGT and Solidaires (Sud PTT). They are protesting against the orders to be submitted to the Council of Ministers of 22 September and to reform the Labour Code.
“These measures will enhance the reversal of the hierarchy of norms, facilitate layoffs and reduce the rights of employees,” summarizes Régis Guyomarch, representative of the CGT local union of Chateaubriant.
This Tuesday, September 12th, a little more than 200 protesters were present at the call of the CGT and Sud PTT.
In front of the town hall, they brandish placards expressing their distress: the end of assisted contracts, the merger of employee representative bodies, the limitation of compensation for unfair dismissal outraged them.
The procession moved through the streets of downtown. In its ranks, fifteen of the twenty six employees of CASTELBRIANTAIS, thirty employees from Kuhn Huard, employees from Tetra Pak and the slaughterhouse of Saint-Mars-la-Jaille.
The local Union CGT of Ancenis was also represented.
A new event has been announced for the 21st September.
