Rospez: A Hangar of 200 m² Fully Ablaze, Farm Equipment Destroyed

An intense fire broke out around 8pm on Saturday night, in Rospez, near Lannion. A barn burned with all the material it contained.

The violent fire broke out shortly after 8pm on Saturday. The fire started in the shed of a farm located in the locality Kerhuel in Rospez, a few kilometers from Lannion.

This hangar 200m² contained farm equipment, but also fodder, which has accelerated the progress of the flames. The owners gave the alert to 8.10pm. Twenty firemen from the barracks of Lannion, Perros-Guirec Bégard arrived on site. But the building was completely ablaze.

At 10pm, many firefighters were still on site.

The department of Cotes d’Armor was hit by a series of fires in farm since Friday night. Several hectares of fields went up in smoke.
