WEATHER: Nineteen departments are still on orange alert for “winds” …
The violent winds on a part of France have caused the death of two people. A driver was killed after a tree fell on his truck in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. This southern department was on orange alert for high winds late Monday afternoon, while 11 other departments were on orange alert .
And Dordogne, a motorist was killed by a falling tree near Périgueux in the afternoon, said the prefecture of Dordogne, confirming information of Southwest.

The storm Zeus, was also rampant on the west side of France, has also critically injured three students because of the falling tree. The three youths, aged 17 and 18, are being treated for “multiple injuries,” said the prefecture of Finistère, adding that their lives were not in danger.
More than 600,000 homes without power
