The Eiffel Tower, one of the most visited monuments in the world, is closed to the public this Sunday morning because of an intrusion attempt, we have been informed by the operating company and firefighters.
“Access is closed to the public this morning,” reported AFP after an announcement from the company operating the Parisian monument, without giving further details. Firefighters went on site after reports of an intrusion, but have “found nothing” at the scene, said a spokesman for the Paris fire brigade.
