Weather in Charente this Wednesday 9th September: Clear Drop in Temperatures, but the Sun is Out

After the disrupted passage on Tuesday, change of atmosphere this Wednesday 9th September in Charente. The thermometer drops significantly, with around ten degrees when you wake up and only 21 to 22 °C in the afternoon. In return, the sun should largely dominate.

The contrast will be noticeable when you wake up. After the sweetness of the last few days, minimum temperatures will be around 10 °C in Angoulême, with values that can vary by a few degrees depending on the sectors of the department.

In Cognac, Météo-France plans 12 °C at least. More generally, the organization forecasts minimums of between 10 and 16 °C on Wednesday over a large part of the northern and southwest half.

Sun and around 22 °C in the afternoon

Good news: this refreshment will not be accompanied by a gray day. After the passage of Tuesday’s disturbance, the weather is becoming dry and largely sunny again in Charente.

In Angoulême, the thermometer should reach 22 °C at the best of the day. Same expected value near Cognac, where Météo-France announces generous sunshine and a weak to moderate northwest wind.

Charente will thus benefit from a more favorable situation than several French regions. Showers will remain possible on Wednesday over part of the North-West and storms will still affect the South-East and the reliefs in particular. The South-West should benefit from sunnier weather.

The freshness won’t last

The cost will be relatively brief. On Thursday, temperatures should already rise slightly, around 24 °C in Angoulême, always with dry and bright weather. The increase would then continue over the weekend: current forecasts give approx 26 °C Saturday and 27 °C Sunday in Angoulême, before a new push towards 29 °C Monday. At this deadline, the forecast will naturally need to be refined.

In other words, the Charentais will bring out a little jacket on Wednesday morning, but probably not put away their summer outfits.
