An Air France Boeing Bound for Reunion Does not Pass Switzerland and Returns to Paris Urgently

A technical problem forced the Air France plane to turn around to return to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport.

Travellers will have had to wait before seeing the sunny coasts of Reunion. If flight Air France AF652 took off well from the paris-charles de Gaulle Airport at 5.49pm, Friday 24th October, bound for Saint Denis, he was forced to turn around over Switzerland approximately 45 minutes after departure due to a technical problem. Information given by the site Air Live confirmed by Flight Aware which lists all the flights.

The Boeing 777-300ER therefore finally landed on the same runway Roissy 1 hour 40 minutes after takeoff. According to Aeronews, 312 passengers and 14 crew members were on board.

Air France has rescheduled a new departure around midnight.
