Leclerc, Super U… Raclette Cheese Contaminated with Listeria Recalled Massively Throughout France

This is a set of raclette cheeses from the Raclette des Petits Monts brand. At issue: the presence of listeria monocytogenes.
As temperatures cool and days get shorter, this is the reflex of many of us. Take out the raclette machine (or stay with friends to enjoy it) and carefully choose the cheese you are going to taste, or even devour.
But before going to a store or supermarket, you will have to be vigilant.
Indeed, Rappel Conso, the alert site for dangerous products, echoes, this Friday, September 26, 2025, a raclette cheese recall from the Raclette des Petits Monts brand throughout France. More precisely, it is a raclette cheese set, bringing together the flavors of nature, Provence herbs, wild garlic, pepper, porcini mushroom, bruschetta and savory.
Several distributors concerned
Several distributors are concerned: Biocoop, the Système U stores, Leclerc, Chez Mélanie, Tout frais tout fruits, Gourmand et Gourmet, Colline des Saveurs, and Fromagerie des Roches.
The recall also affects several batches: 14E25, 14G25, 16A25POI, 15C25ADO, 15E25HDP, 17C25BRU, 17B25CEP, and 16G25SAR, with expiration dates scheduled between September 25 and October 10, 2025. The products were marketed between August 28 and September 25, 2025.
The cause of this national recall? The presence of listeria monocytogenes. As detailed in ANSES (National Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health Safety), it is a ubiquitous bacteria, present in the soil, very widespread in the environment. Cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and chickens naturally harbor this bacteria in their digestive tract.
And to complete: The bacteria can be present in food processing workshops, where it can contaminate food when handling products and persist in the workshop environment, if cleaning is insufficient or if it resists products disinfectants. “
Its presence can cause listeriosis, which manifests itself by digestive disorders such as gastroenteritis, fever and aches. It requires one hospitalization in 20 to 30% of cases, or even can lead to death. It is also the second leading cause of death from food.
