FIRE: Marseilles fire marshals intervened on Tuesday morning for a fire at the flea market that destroyed five buildings, 200 people had to be evacuated

The origin remains unknown for the moment. The marins- firefighters Marseille were called Tuesday morning about 8:20 am for a fire at the flea market in Marseille, located Cape Pine, in the 15th arrondissement. No less than 62 firefighters and 19 vehicles were mobilized to control the incident. The fire was extinguished shortly before 10am.

In total, five businesses were affected, about 300 m2. 200 people also had to be evacuated, but no injuries were reported. The firefighters are unaware for the moment of the origin of the disaster, violent storms fell early this Tuesday morning in Marseille.
