Châteauneuf: A truck Overturns, Roundabout Blocked
ACCIDENT: A truck has overturned on the Super U roundabout in Châteauneuf (Charente), traffic diverted, long delays
A truckload carrying gravel was overthrown around 2.15pm this Monday 16th September at the roundabout near the Super U in Chateauneuf (Charente). Traffic should be restored at 7pm.
No injuries but the accident are causing a big problem for traffic, with long tailbacks, and a deviation has also been put into place to try and aid the situation.
Shortly after 2 pm, on Monday, a dump truck carrying gravel spilt into the Super U roundabout in Châteauneuf, for no apparent reason.
The carrier was travelling from Cognac to Angouleme.
The traffic was diverted during the long cleaning operations of the roadway. Everything should return to order at 7pm.
