Thunderstorms: Five Departments in Southwest on Orange Alert

Five departments Southwest remained orange alert for thunderstorms late Tuesday afternoon, announced Meteo France which raised however in Normandy alert which concerned Eure and Seine-Maritime.

In the Southwest, the departments still orange alert are the Dordogne, Gironde, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne and Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

In Normandy, the alert was lifted in the evening for the two departments remained in vigilance, Eure and Seine-Maritime. “The strong stormy developments risk period has now passed,” said Meteo France. She had also been lifted in the afternoon for the Manche, Calvados and Orne and earlier for Cotes d’Armor and Ille-et-Vilaine.
