An accident involving a car occurred, Thursday, June 8, at 2 pm at a roundabout route de Mordelles, Hermitage, a town west of Rennes. The vehicle barrel rolled before coming to rest in a field. The driver of 89 years died.
The accident occurred this Thursday 8th June, 2017, at 2pm, at the roundabout du Vieux four, on the road of Mordelles (D 287), L’Hermitage (Ille-et-Vilaine), near Rennes .
His wife in shock
A motorist went straight across the roundabout, according to preliminary evidence gathered. His vehicle conducted a barrel roll before coming to rest in a field. The driver, 89 years old, died.
Shocked, his wife who was a passenger, was cut out of the care by the rescue team and taken to hospital.
