The bridge of Saint Nazaire, which connects the two banks of the Loire, is closed to traffic from 9.30am Monday morning, due to strong wind gusts. Just before closing, a van swept away by a burst of wind lay down on the floor.
Wind gusts are greater than 120 km/ h on the bridge.
