The social movement continues within the German airline. Nearly 900 flights Lufthansa are still cancelled on Wednesday because of a strike of its pilots which started a week ago. Some 890 flights precisely, including long-haul, do not take off on Wednesday affecting about 98,000 passengers, said Lufthansa, which has developed a unique flight plan to try to limit the impact of the work stoppage of its pilots.
After a break on Sunday and Monday, the drivers started to strike at the call of the Cockpit union, making it their 15th strike since the spring of 2014.

Already the sixth day of strike
A total of six days of strike since last Wednesday caused the cancellation of 4,461 flights, according to a statement from Lufthansa.
