The protesters intend to show their support to the people of ZAD, whose expulsion could be ordered by the High Court of Nantes Wednesday morning. These people are part of the historical opponents of the project. A large demonstration is also scheduled for Saturday in Rennes, a week after a similar protest in Nantes.
Drivers arrested
Tuesday, many activists have mobilized to pressure the Government. The prefecture of Loire-Atlantique reported that 19 drivers were arrested for obstructing traffic and placed in custody. Their vehicles were taken to the pound.
