For the National occasion of Bastille Day, the municipality of Chateaubriant has provided entertainment and a ceremony that will take place on Monday 13 and Tuesday, 14 July 2015.
Monday, July 13
– From 9 pm to at the Choisel park there will be entertainments and music and dancing as long as refreshments
– At around 11.15pm, there will be a fireworks display over the l.ake of Choisel.
Tuesday, July 14
– At 7.30 am, Fishing competition – gathering and registration of fishermen at the lake of Choisel.
– From 9 to 11.30am The start of various fishing competitions, including the Grand Prix of Chateaubriant.
– At 9.50 am, A procession on the esplanade of the castle with the participation of the civil authorities, associations of veterans and patriotic with their flags, local associations, various groups and civic harmony of Chateaubriant.
– At 10 am ceremony at the war memorial and reception offered at restaurant.
– At 12.30, Results of the fishing contests prices and reception offered on site.
