A head on road accident occurred on Saturday around 6.30pm in the municipality of Mazerolles, about 500m from the village at a junction towards La Rochefoucauld.
The driver of the van, seriously injured was taken to Poitiers. The driver of the other van, was slightly injured was taken to the hospital of Angouleme.
Firefighters Montbron and La Rochefoucauld were on hand, as well as the gendarmes of La Rochefoucauld. The circumstances of the accident remain to be determined.
