About 270 people marched against the El Khomri law this Thursday, March 31, between 10 am and 11.45 am, in the streets of Chateaubriant. After gathering at place du Général de Gaulle, the procession went past the Glass Theatre to tour the square behind the Hotel de Ville, before coming to a stop in front of the Amazone restaurant at Place de la Motte, for speeches.
After a reading of an open letter from Yves Daniel, Member of the 6th district, who asked that the bill be withdrawn. A schoolgirl from the Lycee Moquet-Lenoir also took to the the floor to denounce the ban by their principal to participate in the event.
The procession then returned to the Glass Theatre, and the event ended just before midday.
