Prime de Noël: Here is the Date on Which this Aid Will be Paid, Which Can Go Up To 500 Euros

Like every year, the Prime de Noël arrives in mid-December. But we now know the precise date in 2025.

It’s aid expected by 2.2 million households (2024 figure). The Prime de Noël is paid each year in mid-December, but the date is still important, because this bonus is a real boost for the households concerned.

As we had it written a few weeks ago, the Prime de Noël will be paid from the 16th December 2025, the Ministry of Labor told  usconfirming information revealed this Monday 24th November by Ouest France

Who can receive this aid?

As a reminder, this bonus created in 1998 not paid to all beneficiaries from Caf. You must have benefited from the following services in November or December 2025:

  • active solidarity income (RSA);
  • the specific solidarity allowance (ASS);
  • the retirement equivalent allowance (AER).

Is this your case? You will therefore not have to take any action.

The bonus will be paid automatically to beneficiaries.

CAF

If you receive ASS or AER, the premium amount is 152.45 euros.

On the other hand, RSA beneficiaries are entitled to a different premium amount, depending on the composition of the household.

Here is the scale:

  • For a single person: 152.45 euros
  • For a couple without children: 228.68 euros
  • For a single person with a dependent child: 228.68 euros
  • For a couple with a dependent child: 274.41 euros
  • For a single person with two dependent children: 274.41 euros
  • For a couple with two dependent children: 320.15 euros
  • For a single person with three dependent children: 335.39 euros
  • For a couple with three dependent children: 381.13 euros
  • For a single person with four dependent children: 396.37 euros
  • For a couple with four dependent children: 442.11 euros
  • For a single person with five dependent children: 457.35 euros
  • Per additional person: 60.98 euros

Soon a blow from the plane?

The government, through its Minister of Labor Jean-Pierre Farandou, explained at the beginning of November that he was not sure that our country has the means to pursue these policies of maximum generosity. We must therefore accept a refocusing. ”

The 2026 budget, in the initial version presented by the government, thus provided for a reduction in the credits allocated to this bonus.

The Prime de Noël, if the government’s project were voted on, would thus be eliminated for job seekers receiving the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) and for recipients of the RSA from Caf or the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) who do not have children.
