A man was killed …

A man was killed Thursday by police outside a police station in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, as he tried to enter the building, according to police sources.  According to France Info, the man was wearing an explosive belt and was shouting Allahu Akhbar as well as carrying a picture of the Islamic State Flag. BFM TV states that a bomb squad is on site.

 

 

According to residents, the area was cordoned off and police would have given safety instructions:

 

A trader confirms that shortly after noon, plainclothes policemen asked him to lower the blinds of the shop.


A witness reported by AFP “two to three shots” in the Rue de la Goutte d’Or, which was sealed off by police.
These facts came one year to the day after the terrorist killings at the offices of Charlie Hebdo and hyper Kosher.
