Thanks to the late snowfall in November, most of the massive resorts in the Pyrenees are ready to welcome tourists for the holiday season …

Despite the mild winter in December, the stations of the Pyrenees are opening their ski areas to accommodate holiday makers. Thanks to significant snowfalls in late November, the Pyrenean hope to succeed at the game this holiday season.

Thus Peyragudes, Piau-Engaly, Grand Tourmalet, Luz Ardiden, Cauterets, Ax-3 Domaines, the Monts-d’Olmes, Ascou, Guzet Snow and Plateau de Beille are open for winter enthusiasts.  Some ski areas are partially accessible, like Luz Ardiden open 40% or Ascou-Pailhères 60%.

The resorts of the west of the massif, as Gourette and La Pierre-Saint-Martin has not benefited as much of the first snowfall, they remain closed for now.
