During the 18th stage of the Tour de France, disputed at a slow pace, it was finally the Dane Kasper Asgreen, present in the breakaway, who won in Bourg-en-Bresse on Thursday 20 th July when the sprinters were expected. Check out the full race standings.
It is an unexpected winner who raised his arms this Thursday 20th July in Bourg-en-Bresse during the 18th stage of the Tour de France. Kasper Asgreen (Soudal-Quick Step) has indeed crossed the line after a breakaway of 181 kilometres. The Dane is ahead of Pascal Eenkhoorn (Lotto-Dstny) and Jonas Abrahamsen (Uno-X).
The sprinters were however expected but the peloton was trapped and Jasper Philipsen only had to settle for fourth place, he who has already raised his arms four times in this 2023 edition.
