Thirty-three people were injured this Sunday on the A1 motorway, including four seriously, in the accident of a bus carrying the Paris- London, announced the Somme prefecture. At 11:50 am, a bus from the Flixbus company made a road exit at exit 13 – Estrées-Deniécourt (between Amiens and Saint-Quentin) – and lay on its side, the prefecture said in a statement, without specifying the circumstances of the accident.





Of the 33 people on board, including passengers and passengers of foreign nationality, 29 were slightly injured and four seriously, according to the prefecture. Major relief resources were mobilized, including teams from Samu, the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) and the Gendarmerie. The accident caused the closure of exit 13, but traffic continues on the A1 despite a slowdown over 400 meters at the accident, said the prefecture.

SDIS installed a command post on the site. The Sanef (highway company) with the help of the gendarmerie has opened a meeting point for victims, the same source added.
