ACCIDENT: Strong traffic disruption is recorded this Friday morning on the A61, south of Toulouse, after the accident of a heavy truck, which caught fire
A truck that circulated on the A61 this Friday morning, in the direction Narbonne to Toulouse, had an accident at Avignonet-Lauragais. The truck loaded with food crossed the median to overturn on the reverse lane.
The accident caused a leak in his tank, which caught fire. The firefighters intervened to control the flames and the traffic had to be interrupted towards Toulouse, between Castelnaudary and Villefranche-de-Lauragais.
In the direction of Narbonne the vehicles circulated on a single lane.

This accident created several kilometres of traffic jams on the A61 according to Vinci Autoroutes, the manager of this axis.
