While this Sunday 19th May was a regional motorcycle day in the framework of the fortnight of vulnerable users, a motorcyclist was hospitalized in a serious condition following a collision with a car, in Montigny-lès-Cormeilles ( Val d’Oise ).
The accident, the circumstances of which remain to be defined, occurred around 6.30pm, rue Fortuné-Charlot, Montigny-lès-Cormeilles.
Hospitalized in absolute urgency
The 53-year-old man was evacuated in absolute urgency by the Smur d’ Argenteuil to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy ( Hauts-de-Seine ).
The day before, it’s up to Ermont that the relief had intervened for a similar accident. A 24-year-old rider was also hospitalised in serious condition.
So 29 people lost their lives on the roads of the Val-d’Oise, the drivers of motorcycles account for nearly half of the victims with 13 deaths.
