A man was burned to the hands and face in the fire of a workshop adjoining a pavilion on Saturday 12th January, 2019, in Franqueville-Saint-Pierre, near Rouen.

According to the Fire and Rescue Operational Center, the fire began in the evening in a workshop attached to a pavilion on Charles-Péguy Street.

When the help arrived, the little building was completely engulfed. The firefighters have mastered the disaster with three fire hoses. A man living in the pavilion was seriously injured, burned to his hands and face. These days were not in danger. He was transported to Rouen University Hospital.
A police investigation will have to shed light on the origin of this fire.
