Strike action continues at the SNCF

Traffic will still be disrupted at SNCF on Tuesday, for the eighth episode of strike since early April, with three TGV on five and three Intercity out of ten, announced the management of the group in a statement.

In the Paris region, traffic will be normal on the busy RER line A, but more complicated on the others. Three out of five trains will thus run on line B and half on C. There will be two out of three RER Ds in circulation and one RER E out of three.

On the TGV network, the Atlantic and North axes will be the most disturbed with, respectively, one train out of two and one out of three maintained. Traffic will be slowed to a lesser extent on the East (two out of three) and South East (three out of five) routes.

In addition, more than half of the Ouigo are programmed. The Eurostar and Thalys traffic is announced almost normal. The connections to and from Switzerland (Lyria) and Italy, on the other hand, are affected by the social movement, with respectively five out of nine trains and one out of three trains. There will be no train between France and Spain.



Internationally, SNCF plans to operate two out of three trains. The four representative unions at SNCF (CGT, Unsa, SUD rail, CFDT) call for a two-day strike by episode against the railway reform.
