A violent accident occurred around 4am on Friday morning at a place called the Rocheraux, in the commune of Saint-Cybardeaux, in the Charente. A car with four people aboard violently struck a tree before coming to rest in the middle of the road.
The driver, 19, was seriously wounded. He suffered head trauma and fractures in both legs. The rescue team comprising of firemen and Samu, took an hour to remove the driver from the vehicle. He was transported to the hospital of Poitiers.
One passenger was slightly injured and transported to the hospital of Angouleme. The other two passengers were not injured.
