MOTORSPORT: Lewis Hamilton grabs victory of the Formula 1 Grand Prix of the United States and gets closer to his World Championship …
The Formula 1 Grand Prix of the United States, has been won this evening by Lewis Hamilton getting him closer to becoming world champion for the fourth time in his career. The Briish driver has to wait though at the moment, as his nearest rival, Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) finished in second place, to keep his hopes alive.

Starting from pole position, Lewis Hamilton was overtaken on the first corner by Sebastian Vettel but the British driver resumed his position as the race leader on lap 7. Lewis Hamilton is then in complete control of the race during the Grand Prix of the United States to win. Sebastian Vettel is second. Kimi Raikkonen completed the podium, after Max Verstappen was given a five second penalty for leaving the track on an overtaking move.
