A shootout erupted Sunday night in Avignon (Vaucluse), reports La Provence. Two hooded men opened fire at the mosque Arrahma, rue Barcelona, at least eight wounded. The terrorist track is not considered.
According to the daily La Provence, shooting occurred Sunday night before the Arrahma mosque in Avignon (Vaucluse).
According to preliminary evidence gathered by our colleagues and confirmed by police two hooded men reportedly arrived on board a Renault Clio. Shooters possessed a handgun and a rifle. One of them would be out of the vehicle to open fire on the crowd present in the street.

Accordingto La Provence, at least eight people were injured including a girl of 7 years old.
The police were immrdiately called to the scene. The two suspects are on the run, the newspaper said.
The discarded terrorist track
