Brittany, wine and dance: this weekend, we have identified five grat events in Nantes to get you off the couch
1. Picnic and dance
The centre chorégraphique of Nantes will open at 11 am on Saturday 13th May. Bring your picnic lunch to eat on the outdoor tables set in the yard. Little nibbles are also provided to eat as well. From 4 pm, there is a the show in three rooms: Passo d’Ambra Senatore with fifteen students from Nantes Conservatory, Vice Versa, a duo of Mossdoux-Compassion company and Man Rec , Solo company Amala Dianor. Evening programming starts at 8.30pm. From 10pm, a boogie in the moonlight with DJ O. (read DJ “at the point”!). And it’s free!

2. The Grande Tablée Breton
On Sunday the 14th May, instead of Petite Hollande, in Nantes, the 6 th large Breton diners celebrating Muscadet, music and Breton produce. Last year, more than 4000 people attended the event. After the official speeches, the Druidic ritual and the proclamation of the winners of the Breton Wine contest, the entertainment of the day will be provided by a series of musical groups.
The program from 1 pm: Javel the Pays d’Ancenis (traditional music and dance), Bombard & Co Koznoz (singing and traditional music), Moriad (vocals); Koll boued Quintet Accornemuse, Barbar’O’Rhum (Pirate Celtic Rock) and Digresk (Celtic Electro Rock) .In conjunction with this event, organized as part of the Festival of Brittany Gouel Breizh 2017, 2nd wine competition of Brittany is planned. Free admission and open to all.
3. It will send the block, in Rezé!
At Trentemoult this Sunday, the festival theme will be the the form of Paté! In all its forms. A contest of sandcastles for children, tastings for parents and throwing empty bowls for muscular. Registration for the competition for the best Paté is no longer possible, but you can bring yours to share. The bread will be free at the Pâtéstival!

4. The big flea market Viarme
The three days of Viarme, is on since Friday! Until Sunday 14th May, 160 professionals will unpack their merry knick-knacks. Antique furniture, crockery, postcards, jewelry, trinkets and toys of yesteryear, it’s enough bargain hunting and find rare objects.
Place Viarme in Nantes, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May from 9am to 7pm, with 160 professionals. Free entry.
5. Wine and music
The festival Wine Nat White Heat takes place in two locations: the Doulon neighborhood home and Pioche bar, Sunday 14th May in Nantes. On the menu, nine concerts of musicians from around the world to listen with a natural wine glass of Loire wine. Also good for music winemakers, the goal is to inform the young of the local wines.
Saturday, May 13, Quarter house Doulon in Nantes, and Sunday, May 14, Pioche bar instead Talensac in Nantes. Prices: 16 € or 20 € on site on Saturday; free admission on Sunday.
