Eleven candidates will contest the first round of the presidential election on 23rd April, announced on Saturday by the president of the Constitutional Council, Laurent Fabius, after validation of the list of sponsors
It is now endorsed. Three candidates, Philippe Poutou, Jean Lassalle and Jacques Cheminade, qualified and join the list the first eight candidates have collected 500 signatures: François Fillon, Benoît Hamon, Emmanuel Macron , Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Nathalie Arthaud, Marine Le Pen and François Asselineau.
