An Orange Alert for the department according to Meteo France, with the arrival of a disturbance which runs through the northwest quarter of the country this morning. The weather is spoiling this afternoon with thunderstorms and hail.
The people of nantes have seen already this morning, rains are brief but supported, along with a southwest wind strong enough.
After the passage of the front, the weather remains very agitated and unstable, and between short intervals, showers are frequent and marked, sometimes stormy and accompanied by sleet, all in a chilled atmosphere.
On the Loire-Atlantique, stormy showers are expected all afternoon in the northern part of the department. Météo France has also just placed an orange alert on department since the stormy threat will gradually spread this afternoon to the south of the department, with some places hailstorms (see maps):
